As a charity focusing on supporting individuals facing multiple disadvantages, we are acutely aware of factors affecting the physical, emotional, and psychological well-being of many people this winter. Concerns about bills, heating, and food are already leading to increased levels of anxiety. This is why we are partnering with Warm Spaces and Luton Connects, and doing our part to support businesses to help where possible in this crucial initiative.

We are proud how Luton’s voluntary, faith and charitable sector has stepped up to deliver warm spaces. Luton connects is a fantastic way for businesses to support local Luton residents who are using these warm spaces and I urge everyone to help out if they can.

NOAH is a charity that helps people experiencing homelessness, extreme poverty, and other disadvantages to make positive changes in their lives. We do this by providing care and advice services, training and wellbeing workshops, and opportunities for employment. We’re proud to be part of Luton-based partnerships supporting people in poverty, including the Warm Spaces Network, Food First, and the Luton Homeless Partnership. Luton is an amazing community which never fails to come together to provide for those among us who are in need. We’d strongly encourage everyone to get involved, because what is good for people in poverty is good for our whole town.

Here at Bedfordshire and Luton Community Foundation, we know how hard charities and community groups are working this winter to keep families and individuals warm and fed. We are supporting this initiative through our year-round Hardship Fund, supported by Luton Businesses and individuals. This appeal raises money to help vulnerable individuals & families, working with community partners to support those most in need. We believe that no one should go have to go through this winter unable to be warm and fed.
